Where is Joe Fields?

Long-time Willis Carto crony Joe Fields, a convicted sex offender in Carto’s home state of California, has failed to check in with police as required by law. In California, all sex offenders must register with the police, for inclusion in the Megan’s Law
database, which allows the public to track sex offenders. In 1996, Fields pled no contest
to five counts of California Penal Code 647.6 (a) which reads: Every person who annoys or molests any child under the age of 18 shall be punished by a fine not exceeding one thousand dollars ($1,000), by imprisonment in a county jail not exceeding one year, or by both the fine and imprisonment.
Fields served only three months before being released.
Fields, whose full name is Joseph Gregory Fields, is listed in the Megan’s Law database as being six feet tall, weighing 200 pounds, having blond hair, and green eyes. His date of birth is listed as January 4, 1964. Fields is classified as a serious offender,
whose whereabouts are unknown. Police are asking for the public’s help in locating Fields.
Fields’ last known address was 1610 260th Street, Harbor City, CA 90710. It is believed that Fields, a contributor to The Spotlight, frequently visits the offices of Liberty Lobby and the Carto mansion in Escondido, California, and he often accompanies Carto to right-wing political functions in southern California. His photo appeared on page 3 of The Spotlight on October 13, 1997.
