Including information about his associates
December 12, 2001
The U.S. District Court for the Southern District of California yesterday dismissed a November 6, 2001, lawsuit aimed at delaying the sale of Willis Carto’s hillside California mansion. Although the speed of the dismissal is unusual, in reaching its decision the court noted serious omissions in the pleadings, and cited previous testimony from Carto himself that contradicted claims made in this current lawsuit.
The house is still scheduled to be sold at sheriff’s auction sometime after January 21, 2002.
